Alabama State University, Office of Financial Aid, invites applications to the fill the position of Federal Work-Study Coordinator. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Financial Aid, the Work-Study Coordinator will coordinate and monitor all work study positions and placement of students, ensure compliance with federal, state and institutional policies and regulations. Duties and Responsibilities:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with three to five years of progressively responsible experience in a Financial Aid Office; knowledge of State and Federal Student Aid policies, procedures and regulations; experience in a higher education or similar environment that involved assisting individuals in understanding and completing complex forms and documents used to determine program eligibility; strong accounting and reconciliation skills, must be accurate, detail-oriented and have excellent time-management skills; must communicate effectively orally and in writing and maintain good working relationships with students, staff, faculty and external contacts and proficient in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook are required. |
