Posted Job Title Graduate Admissions Manager, Penn Arts & Sciences Job Profile Title Manager B, Student Services, Admissions Job Description Summary The Graduate Admissions Manager leads the Graduate Division's annual admissions process, overseeing application review and coordination across 33 graduate groups. This role serves as a key liaison between prospective students, Graduate Chairs, and Program Coordinators to ensure a seamless and efficient admissions experience from application through enrollment. The Admissions Manager collaborates closely with Graduate Division staff. Job Description The University of Pennsylvania School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) forms the foundation of the scholarly excellence that has established Penn as one of the world's leading research universities. Members of the Penn Arts & Sciences faculty are leaders in creating new knowledge in their disciplines and are engaged in nearly every area of interdisciplinary innovation. The SAS Graduate Division is the most varied of Penn's twelve graduate schools, preparing students for Research Master's degrees and PhDs across the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Approximately 1,600 doctoral students and 400 Research Master's students seek degrees in the 33 Graduate Groups within the School of Arts and Sciences. The Graduate Division, led by the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies, serves as the administrative center for graduate studies within SAS, and coordinates fellowships, finances, registration, academic and administrative affairs for students and faculty. The Graduate Admissions Manager collaborates closely with the Associate Dean and the Director of Finance and Administration to support the admission of applicants and contribute to the delivery of high-quality educational experiences for graduate students in the School of Arts and Sciences. This role is responsible for managing the processing of over 7,000 applications annually. The Manager fosters an inclusive and responsive environment that addresses the varied needs of applicants navigating the graduate admissions process. They also represent the Graduate Division on various university and external committees. Duties: The Graduate Admissions Manager plays a key role in advancing the university's commitment to student success by supporting a comprehensive and efficient graduate admissions process. The Graduate Division processes approximately 7,000 applications annually across 33 graduate groups offering master's and doctoral degrees. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to lead and manage the admissions process, leveraging Slate to ensure accurate documentation, effective training, and timely communication with staff across all graduate groups. The Manager will play a critical role in maintaining a streamlined admissions workflow that aligns with institutional enrollment goals. Qualifications:
