Major Duties Under general supervision, the Department Coordinator proactively manages a variety of critical administrative functions. This role supports budget tracking, reconciling departmental expenditures, and ensuring financial accountability. Additionally, the coordinator oversees the departmental website, maintains the accuracy and currency of online content, and facilitates effective communication within and outside the department. They actively assist with faculty recruitment by managing related administrative tasks and scheduling processes. Managing student evaluations and processing faculty personnel documents are also crucial functions, contributing directly to departmental efficiency and academic effectiveness. Furthermore, the Department Coordinator helps prepare the semester schedules of classes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and coordinates student assistant payroll and employment.
