| We are currently looking to fill a Manager, Accounting Operations and Systems role. In this position you will support accounting by identifying, improving, and developing solutions that drive our strategic goals and optimizes accounting and information systems. The role involves collaborating across the company to transform business requirements, coordinate project plans, and recommend innovative solutions to improve accounting processes, specifically within the biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations environment in Rensselaer, New York. In this role, a typical day may include the following: -
Maintaining and modifying accounting’s oracle application configurations within oracle OPM, order management, inventory, and financials. -
Liaise with accounting and IT teams to resolve functional setup issues and sophisticated system problems to support monthly closes and ensure accurate financial reporting. -
Engage with process owners to identify automation opportunities, assess their feasibility, and prioritize their implementation to maximize efficiencies. -
Collaborate with global business partners to translate business requirements into various appropriately detailed deliverables such as functional design specification, use cases, and workflow/processes diagrams. -
Conduct end-to-end testing cycles to validate application improvements, ERP system upgrades, and project implementations, focusing on impact analysis This role may be a fit for you if you: -

Have familiarity with Oracle EBS (ERP) reporting, analytics, and visualization tools like Noetix, Power BI, PCMCS, Data Lakes, Qlik, Hubble, and Tableau is a plus. To be considered for this role you must have a BS/BA in Accounting, Information Systems or similar field. -
Manager Level: 7+ years of relevant experience, including ERP application experience with various financial modules (including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA) and Order Management (OM)) -
Experience crafting requirements, design documents, and test scripts is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred (pharmaceutical experience helpful). Experience with Oracle EBS (ERP) and/or Oracle Fusion (ERP) preferred |
