Posted Job Title Veterinary Technician-Dialysis Job Profile Title Veterinary Technician E Job Description Summary We are seeking a Veterinary Technician with experience in veterinary medicine and who is comfortable with critical care medicine. This nurse will provide care to dialysis patients and work within other areas of nursing as needed. Job Description Nursing Responsibilities

Qualifications Must be a Certified Veterinary Technician with a minimum of 4 years of experience. Emergency and critical care experience is preferred. Must be able to conduct yourself in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure. Must have dedication and desire to have an active and essential role in the growth and development of the dialysis service. Must also have the ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment, while demonstrating a high level of initiative and motivation. Excellent organization skills are essential. Veterinary Technician C has 4+ years of veterinary experience Veterinary Technician D has 5+ years of veterinary experience Veterinary Technician E has 8+ years of veterinary experience +/- VTS All must be certified Minimum starting salaries increase with each level. Relevant education, experience, skills, and licenses/ certifications are among the factors considered in salary offers. Hours 8am-4pm Monday-Friday **Flexibility with hours (earlier start time or later end time may be needed occasionally based on service schedule and emergency cases) Physical Requirement: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop for prolonged periods of time. Ability to lift 25 + pounds with assistance. Working conditions can be noisy with barking dogs. Job Location - City, State Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaVeterinary Technician E Department / School School of Veterinary Medicine Pay Range $29.81 - $40.00 Hourly Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
