The Department of Resident Life and Housing invites applicants for the position of Assistant Director for Community Standards for Residential Life and Housing. Under the direction of the Associate Director of Residence Life, the primary role of the Assistant Director is to provide support for the day-to-day execution of health, safety and wellbeing of the resident student population of 5,300 beds in West Chester University housing and our Affiliated housing. This position leads a team to manage residential student conduct and case management. The Assistant Director supports Residence Life and Housing's priority of community development in the specific areas of upholding community standards and safety in the residence halls. Assisting to create a residential environment that is welcoming to all students and where students feel they belong and are well cared for is paramount to this work. This Assistant Director serves as a liaison to many departments and services including but not limited to Wellness Promotion, Public Safety Security Desk Officers, Student Conduct.
