Chief Pharmacy Officer

Centralus Health in Ithaca, NY, is a new partnership formed through the recent affiliation of community-based Arnot Health and Cayuga Health systems. They have begun a national search for an inaugural and enterprise-wide Chief Pharmacy Officer (CPO) to oversee pharmacy services across the system. This includes responsibility for maintaining compliance and regulations of licensing authorities and regulatory agencies at the hospitals, retail, specialty, clinics, and infusion sites across the system, including a 340B program. The pharmacy has revenues of approximately $300M, and the CPO will have oversight of approximately 80 FTEs.

This role will guide strategic, operational, and financial performance across the pharmacy enterprise, positioning pharmacy as a driver of system growth, access, and innovation. The CPO will expand services beyond the traditional inpatient model into a fully integrated network of ambulatory, retail, and payer-aligned services.

Expected Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Centralus Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package and an annual bonus incentive.
