Full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor in Accounting
College of the Holy Cross
GENERAL INFORMATION The Department of Economics and Accounting at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor specializing in Accounting to begin in August 2026. We are seeking someone eager to teach a wide array of accounting courses, and preference will be given to candidates in the fields of taxation and finance.
This position carries a 3-2 teaching load with a research leave prior to tenure review of either a full year at 80% salary or a semester at full salary, and generous sabbatical and fellowship leaves for tenured faculty. To enable a smooth transition to Holy Cross, new full-time tenure-track Assistant Professors receive start-up funding to support their research and professional development and have a one-course reduction in their first year of teaching (i.e., 2-2). This position offers full benefits and a starting salary in the range of $137,500-$140,200. QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must demonstrate excellence in scholarship and undergraduate teaching as well as a commitment to inclusive pedagogies. Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree (for example: DBA, JD with MST/LLM) is required by the beginning of the appointment.
