Hourly Range: $20.00 - $22.00 Job Posting Title: CGU-Temporary Budget Coordinator POSITION VISION: Claremont Graduate University is seeking a dynamic, student-centered team member to temporarily perform a broad range of administrative and fiscal tasks for the School of Social Science, Policy & Evaluation, including its affiliated Institutes. Knowledge of the organization, policies, and procedures of the University is required, including technical specialties as outlined below. This temporary position will serve as part of a university community committed to providing a diverse student body with an exceptional student experience. CORE FUNCTIONS:

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree preferred or any combination of education and experience meeting the requirements of the position. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years' experience in an administrative office position. Excellent customer service experience required. LICENSES / CERTIFICATES: N/A OTHER: HOURS: This is a temporary status, full-time, benefits-eligible position. The regular hours for this position are 8:30a.m. to 5p.m. (37.5 hours per week). Hours may vary due to needs of the school. This position is on site. This position is expected to end on or before November 28, 2025. CLASSIFICATION AND STATUS: This is a temporary full-time, benefits based, non-exempt hourly position. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Student workers or volunteers/ambassadors where needed. REPORTS TO: The Dean of the School of Social Science, Policy & Evaluation. Physical Activities Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like. Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces. Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. Adjusting or moving objects up to 10 pounds in all directions. Communicating with others to exchange information. Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Operating machinery and/or power tools. Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment. Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned. Environmental Conditions Low temperatures. High temperatures. Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind. Noisy environments. Hazardous conditions. Poor ventilation. Small and/or enclosed spaces. No adverse environmental conditions expected. Physical Demands Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds. Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more.
