Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and pragmatic VP of Global Investigations. This role requires an individual who has impeccable judgement, the ability to resolve complex investigations, and lead a global investigations team.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a global team of investigators, fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, and excellence.
• Oversee and conduct high-quality, independent investigations into serious allegations of misconduct, ensuring adherence to the companyâ™s Code of Conduct, and global legal/regulatory requirements.
• Draft detailed investigation reports and present findings, recommendations, and remediation measures to senior leaders.
• Remain respectful, diplomatic, and pragmatic in the face of difficult and uncomfortable situations surrounding investigations.
• Compile investigation data and prepare presentations for various stakeholders, including the Audit Committee.
• Analyze investigation data to determine trends and areas of ethics & compliance risk.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (JD) required
• Substantial experience (15+ years) in managing and conducting complex/privileged investigations, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Experience investigating a breadth of compliance matters (e.g., anti-bribery, trade compliance, conflicts of interest).
• Experience managing a team of investigators.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, in addition to a demonstrated record of cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to prepare and deliver clear and concise executive presentations.
• Professional presence and ability to interact effectively with executive management.
• Capable of inspiring trust and confidence through effective communication and interpersonal skills with employees at all levels of the Company.
• Strong work ethic and ability to produce high quality work under deadline pressures.
• Ability to work effectively in a global environment, including an understanding of cultural differences.

• Position is based in NYC or Chicago (Please note: working remotely is not an option for this role)

• Reports to the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
