Job Functions, Duties, Responsibilities and Position Qualifications: The Vice President of Sales & Operations provides executive leadership and strategic direction across the MidSouth region. Reporting directly to the Division President, this influential role oversees Sales, Client Services, and Operations, driving cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional patient and client experiences. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and translating strategic objectives into actionable outcomes. This role is critical to advancing revenue growth, operational excellence, and overall performance while consistently exemplifying our Core Values of service excellence, continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration. In this role, you will: - Drive the division's vision and strategy for sales, operations and customer satisfaction, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives and revenue targets to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Oversee sales and operational performance to ensure efficiency, quality, and alignment with the company's core values.
- Champion process improvements, service delivery enhancements and proactive issue resolution.
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to increase sales, improve customer retention and gain competitive advantage.
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, municipal leaders, strategic partners and major clients to support business development and expansion.
- Own financial performance related to sales revenue, operational costs, and other financial investments.
- Establishes, implements, revises, and maintains policies and procedures related to sales and operations.
- Complies with all State, Federal, professional regulations as well as company and departmental rules, polices, and procedural manuals.
- Extensive travel throughout the MidSouth Division (TN, MS, AL, MO, AR, NC, SC, FL).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
All you need, is: - Proven Anatomic and Clinical Pathology sales and operations leadership experience, preferably multi-state with CLIA/LDT industry experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive laboratory sales & operations management, with proven success in a leadership capacity.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem solving skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
- Proven ability to drive operational excellence, implement process improvements, and optimize costs.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
