Schedule: M-F 8:30 AM-5 PM Overview St. Louis Children’s Hospital is dedicated to improving the health and lives of children. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The child life assistant II (CLA II) is a clinical partner with the Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) in delivering patient and family centered care on inpatient floors. . The CLA II will provide introduction to CL services, coordination of inpatients medical needs by notifying CCLS, and will assist families in obtaining needed CL supplies and resources. The CLA II will be responsible for the safety and security of patients and families in any: playrooms, teen lounge, special events and support groups. The CLA II supervises, oversees and directs the operations of the CL areas and work of the volunteers.
