Senior Program Coordinator (Youth Mentoring)

Position Summary:

• Serves as the volunteer placement liaison between Rutgers University and surrounding school districts.
• Plans, coordinates, and manages Mentoring, Workshops, host college bound days and other programs and events.
• The position requires a high-level of accountability with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at any given time.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• A bachelor's degree in a psychology, education, social work or related social sciences.
• At least two years of relevant experience working in a program management function in higher ed or youth-serving setting and knowledge of current practices in mentoring programs, experience in service learning, community-based research and student internships in higher education.

Equipment Utilized:

• Must have strong familiarity with equipment and software needed for mentoring and program management, including but not limited to Qualtrics, CANVAS, Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Position may be asked to lift boxes and materials up to 25lbs.

Special Conditions:

• Position may be asked to travel from time to time, must have access to transportation and be available to work some nights and weekends.
