Note: Benefits may vary based on position type and/or level Job Summary The Senior Accountant CPA 3 performs complex accounting tasks related to internal controls, general ledger maintenance, and financial statement reviews. Authoritatively communicates technical accounting information clearly. Builds relationships with staff to gather and prepare process narratives, reconcile accounts, and complete special projects. This is a Hybrid role in Dallas, Texas. Essential Functions of the Role - Prepare process narratives.
- Review financial statements and perform financial statement examination.
- Review account reconciliations.
- Research and help in problem-solving unreconciled items and broken processes.
- Proactive use of technology to give timely information to leadership.
- Help internal and external financial statement audits.
- Prepares and presents presentations in assigned areas.
- Participates in special projects.
- Perform accounting research.
Key Success Factors - Master's Degree in Accounting or 150 semester hours. This includes 30 semester hours of upper-level accounting courses and 24 upper-level related business hours from a board-recognized college or university.
- 2 years of experience; public accounting firm experience preferred.
- Proven knowledge of GAAP standards
- Ability to perform accounting research.
