Controller

North Idaho College is seeking a forward-thinking and detail-driven Controller to lead the financial integrity of the institution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both strategy and operations"overseeing everything from forecasting and budgeting to audits and compliance. The Controller plays a key role in shaping the college's economic strategies while ensuring financial transparency and accuracy across all departments.

Reporting to the Vice President for Finance and Business Affairs, the Controller advises senior leadership, supervises a skilled finance team, and ensures compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations. This position oversees the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and regulatory filings, while also serving as a key liaison to auditors and external agencies.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting and financial operations, along with a collaborative mindset and exceptional communication skills. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required, along with at least five years of experience in finance and administrative management, including supervisory responsibilities.

Starting pay range: $$101,983 - $122,379

Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: Typical college hours are Mon-Thurs 7:30-5:00, Fri 7:30-2:30
