![]() Art Preparator Hillstrom Museum of Art Description JOB SUMMARY: The Hillstrom Museum of Art & the Art and Art History Department (AAH) are seeking a part-time Art Preparator to support collection management, oversee lending and cataloging practices, lead exhibition installation activities for the Hillstrom Museum of Art and the Schaefer Art Gallery, and oversee student workers in a professional environment. Reporting to the Hillstrom Director and the AAH Chair, the Art Preparator is responsible for the overall safety of the installation of on-campus exhibitions of the Hillstrom collection and visiting artist/student work. The Gallery and Museum Preparator works closely with the Hillstrom Director to move forward the collections care plan, support exhibition development with the student interns and employees, oversee exhibitions with the permanent collection and manage a group of student workers. The Art Preparator supports the AAH Department in planning and installing exhibitions in the Schafer Gallery. Employment Type: Part-Time (.52 FTE; 25hpw/43wpy), Non-Exempt (Hourly), Non-Benefits Eligibile Pay Range: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Submit your application by July 15, 2025.
