Secretary to the Director of Budget and Finance

The Law School's Office of Finance is responsible for the planning and implementation of the strategies that drive the business operations of the Law School including general accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. Duties and Responsibilities: Fiscal Responsibility - Responsible for matters relating to the bill payment process, familiarity with budgetary codes, orderly collection and compilation of data needed in the preparation of the Law School budget. Prepares special budget reports and profiles for the Director of Budget and Finance as well as department budget managers. Information must be compiled and work accomplished within deadline requirements and requires extensive attention to detail. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree; 3-5 years working in higher education, specifically in accounts payable/receivable, and some knowledge of HR procedures. Proficient in the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel.
