Summary: Responsible for the short and long-range financial forecasting process for Great River Energy (GRE), including preparation, reporting, and analysis of the forecast, working closely with various internal departments, functions, and personnel, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, and treasury. Serves as the technical subject matter expert for GRE’s financial forecasting tool. Assists with the coordination and completion of other financial analysis, as assigned. Assists with the internal and external financial reporting process. Assists with the drafting and maintenance of accounting policies, standards, and regulations, monitoring new accounting pronouncements and driving necessary communication and process change to implement relevant new standards. Total Rewards: A typical starting range for this position is $113,000 - $155,000 annually. Qualifications: Education & experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or finance with at least five years of relevant experience. Public accounting experience and Certified Public Accountant designation preferred. Strong computer technical skills required.
