IT Sr Associate (Multiple Positions), Stack Web and Mobile Application Developer, Level 2 (Temporary)- Department of Instructional Computing and Information Technology (ICIT) GENERAL DUTIES I.T. Senior Associates perform highly complex professional work in technology-related disciplines. While areas of specialization vary, typically I.T. Senior Associates perform a range of work in development/programming, communications, technical support, or similar functions depending on the needs of the Information Technology area to which they report. Work tasks include diagnosing, evaluating, overseeing and resolving highly complex projects. They have wide latitude for independent initiative and judgment and may serve in lead roles on complex programs or projects, and/or serve as a direct supervisor of a unit or group. I.T. Senior Associates should demonstrate mastery of one or more technology-related disciplines, decision-making ability in situations related to those disciplines, and be able to serve as a resource in these areas. They may contribute to decisions on I.T. policies and technical standards. This job is in CUNY's Classified Civil Service. The full specification is available on our web site at http://www.cuny.edu/about/administration/offices/hr/classified-civil-service/ccsjobs/ CONTRACT TITLE IT Senior Associate FLSA Exempt CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Web and Mobile Application Developer to join our team. This position reports to the ICIT Director of Web Services and Digital Presence and ICIT Webmaster. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and maintaining user-friendly, accessible, and responsive web applications, intranets/portals, and mobile applications for hunter.cuny.edu. Key Responsibilities: Application Development- ? Contribute to the planning, analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of web applications, including the development of the Hunter College student portal and mobile application. ? Create mobile applications for the College using Xamarin, Node.js, React Native, Flutter, or other crossplatform frameworks, with REST APIs to support backend services and integrations with various systems. Ensure that both web and mobile applications are responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance across all browsers and devices. ? Integrate applications with Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) systems. ? Develop and maintain PHP-based web applications to support college needs. ? Write and maintain CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS for visually appealing and functional designs. ? Convert standard web pages to responsive designs across various platforms and browsers. ? Support Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication, including SAML 2.0, LDAP, and OAuth-based authentication. Technical Implementation & Support- ? Debug and enhance existing web applications. ? Support and conduct maintenance on existing applications and systems, including vendor-provided platforms. ? Write scripts, programs, and database integrations with ERP, Content Management, and Cloud Computing systems. ? Provide technical support for vendor-provided platforms and in-house applications. ? Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA and ADA 508 accessibility standards. ? Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs. ? Maintain and update code repositories, version control systems, and documentation. ? Perform system administration tasks related to change control, and monitoring utilization. ? Manage and maintain web servers such as IIS, Apache, and Nginx. Web Design and Content Creation-

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This title has three levels. In addition to the minimum qualifications above, To qualify for Levels 2 and 3, additional qualifications, such as education, experience, or certification relevant to the area of specialization are required. COMPENSATION IT Sr Associate - Levels 2- $114, 482 (salary subject to change based on new contract implementation and CUNY service history) BENEFITS CUNY offers a comprehensive benefits package to employees and eligible dependents based on job title and classification.
