Controller

Job Duties (Included but not limited to):

• Oversee all financial operations including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.

• Supervise accounting functions: A/P, A/R, payroll, and tax compliance.

• Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and variance analysis.

• Ensure internal controls and compliance with GAAP and audit standards.

• Liaise with Finance Committee, Vestry, and senior leadership.

• Analyze financial data and recommend performance improvements.

• Maintain financial procedures and assist with insurance program evaluation.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (Master’s/CPA preferred), strong financial management and reporting experience, knowledge of GAAP, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and ACS. Must demonstrate sound decision-making, analytical skills, and a commitment to the mission of SJD and the Episcopal Church.
