Job DescriptionThe Accounting Program at St. Cloud State University has a full-time fixed-term non-probationary position open to:Teach introductory and undergraduate courses as neededPerform advising dutiesParticipate in committee and project work at the program, school, and university levels.Applicant review will begin late September or early October 2025.Minimum QualificationsMaster?s degree in accounting from an AACSB accredited school or MBA from an AACSB accredited school, and a CPA or CMA or CIA in good standingTeaching experience in accounting and teaching evaluations requiredEvidence of demonstrated ability to teach and work effectively with students, program colleagues, and others in the university and business community.Ability to teach and work effectively with persons from culturally diverse backgroundsWillingness to provide service to the university communityWillingness to contribute to student growth and developmentPreferred QualificationTeaching experience in accounting at a four-year universityProfessional accounting experienceOther RequirementsMust be able to teach courses in-person on campus and online asynchronous and/or in a multi-modal format.Required Documents to Apply (Upload with Application)Resume/CVCover LetterThree (3) Professional References Unofficial Transcripts(Official transcripts will be required at time of employment)Teaching PhilosophyDiversity Statement?Position Information Appointment Type: Fixed Term Non-Probationary (FTNP) 9 month appointmentSalary: Commensurate with experience and qualificationsWork Shift (Hours / Days of work)VariesAboutThe successful candidate will share St. Cloud State?s commitment to our mission, and in particular, the value we place in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as outlined in SCSU?s It?s Time strategic framework.
