Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) works within the interprofessional team and with the patient and family providing medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to patients with complex/multiple metabolic diagnosis and diseases. This role possesses refined expertise and is highly proficient in his/her specialty. This dietitian not only integrates standards into daily practice but also serves as a role model to his/her colleagues. One or more of the following certifications within job responsibilities is preferred: Specialty Certifications: CSP, CNSC, CDCES, CCTD , CSO, CSG , CSR, Weight Management. A Masters degree is not required if hired before 1/1/24.
