Texas A&M University – Kingsville is a NCAA Division II University, located in South Texas. TAMUK sponsors 16 men’s and women’s athletic programs in the Lone Star Conference (LSC). Texas A&M University – Kingsville is seeking one (1) Graduate Assistant –Athletic Communications position for a ten-month position renewable for one year for a total of two academic years. Start Date: August 1, 2025 Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: •Serve as primary/secondary communications contact for assigned sport programs. •Create and distribute content for assigned athletic programs in line with the department and program vision •Assist is the production of all Javelina Athletic home events regarding gameday operations and staffing •Manage social media channels for assigned sports programs •Design, write and edit various communications materials, such as student-athlete bios, press releases and feature stories for the department’s website •Manage current and historical team information (rosters, statistics, record, photos, videos) of assigned sports •Other duties as assigned Compensation for this position includes both a tuition waiver up to 18 hours and a housing assistance.
