Staff Educator (RN) Vascular Access, Wound & Ostomy, Diabetes Education

• RN experience in Vascular Access, Diabetes Education or Wound & Ostomy
• 2 yrs min RN experience and BSN required.

Department consist of specialty trained RN's , over 50% certified in the specialty, who place IV catheters into the central vascular of the body, the heart, via ultrasound technology, in a minimally invasive procedure. Nurses are also skilled at difficult peripheral IV placement, implanted venous port access, care and maintenance and Intraosseous needle placement. Staff are also involved in teaching nurses, MD's and others. There is participation and ownership in the Vascular Access Policy and Procedures for the Hospital. They also participate in choosing products needed for our use. Department is open 24/7, 365 days a year.
