Long-Acting Injectables (LAI) Program Specialist

Job Description The Institute of Human Virology (IHV) is currently recruiting an Long-Acting Injectables (LAI) Program Specialist. Under general supervision, this position fills orders for unit doses, pre-package pharmaceutical, intravenous admixtures, DEA Controlled substances, floor stock, supplemental medications, emergency kits, investigational drugs, and general stock requisitions. Performs various related pharmacy duties including such quality management activities as drug product recalls, nursing unit inspections and pharmaceutical care audits. Education: Bachelor's degree Experience: Two (2) years of relevant experience in pharmacy, healthcare administration, or program coordination required Experience with HIV care, specialty pharmacy, or prior authorization strongly preferred. Other: Related experience to program may be substituted for education.
