Accountant- Commercial Construction

As we continue to scale, we’re seeking a Construction Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow with a team that values ownership, accuracy, and initiative.

Our Accountant will play a key role in the financial management of projects by ensuring accurate job costing, billing, compliance, and reporting. This individual will work closely with project managers and leadership to support day-to-day accounting functions and overall financial health of the business. Our system and process is incredibly organized and easy to pick up to anyone who is well organized and a quick study. Sage 50 is our system of choice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of construction accounting, including job cost tracking, accounts payable/receivable, and project billing
• Prepare monthly draw requests, lien releases, and subcontractor payments
• Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and project accounts
• Monitor project budgets and provide financial updates to project managers and leadership
• Support labor cost tracking
• Ensure compliance with tax reporting, insurance, and audit requirements
• Maintain accurate and organized records for all projects and vendors
