Colgate Information Technology Services (ITS) is a dynamic organization that serves the diverse technology needs of the university community. The Data Systems Programmer Analyst’s responsibilities include developing and maintaining reports and dashboards, performing data integration tasks, assisting in software maintenance and upgrade projects, drafting and updating documentation for new or existing processes, and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of data, database, and reporting concepts, and excellent communication skills. This role provides support to other Systems and Data team members through the fulfillment of these responsibilities. As part of the Systems and Data team, this role reports to the Director for Enterprise Applications and Data systems. The Systems and Data team consists of eleven others within the Information Technology Services department and provides support for enterprise software systems through data integration, customization, configuration, and custom web development. This is a new position with a 2-year term with a potential extension.
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience, or a Master’s degree is required.

CAMPUS CRIME REPORTING AND STATISTICS The Department of Campus Safety will provide upon request a copy of Colgate’s Annual Security and Fire Safety Report. This report includes statistics as reported to the United States Department of Education for the previous three years concerning reported: 1. crimes that occurred on-campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Colgate University; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus and 2. fires that occurred in student housing facilities. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security and fire safety, such as policies concerning sexual assault, life safety systems, and other related matters.
