Job Summary$15,000 sign on bonus for eligibel applicants!!The Radiology Team Leader serves as the modality technical expert for assigned modality and/or imaging location. The Team Leader is a “working supervisor” and is expected to perform clinically, coordinate the work of the team, and supervise the delivery of patient care. While the Team Leader's primary responsibility is coordination of patient care, the supervisory responsibilities include oversight of patient safety, process improvement, quality, consistency and standardization of imaging protocols, staff competencies & training, policy adherence, equipment, and supply management. Works closely with modality manager and/or operations manager to provide administrative leadership assistance.Job Duties
Position DetailsOne of the following certifications is needed upon hire: ARRT(N) ARRT(R) ARRT(S) NMTCB ARDMS Specialty Registry in at least one of the following within 24 months of hire, if applicable to area being supervised:
EducationGraduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology (Required)ExperienceMinimum of 3 years-Imaging (Required), Minimum of 2 years-Leadership (Preferred)Certification(s) and License(s)Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body; Sonography (S) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB); Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS); Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)OUR PURPOSE & VALUES: Everything we do is about caring for our patients, our members, our students, our Geisinger family and our communities.
