Job SummaryGeisinger Community Medical Center is a fully accredited level II trauma center and is accountable to the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation (PTSF) Board. The Trauma Case Managers play an essential role in the operation of Trauma and Geisinger's strategic priorities. Some of those responsibilities include, but are not limited to, daily review of the clinical management guidelines for each patient, direct patient interaction and tracking various quality performance indicators for accreditation. These performance indicators align with managing total patient health, ease of access and operational excellence. The Trauma Case Managers round with the trauma clinical team and have direct patient interaction.Job DutiesThe RN Trauma Case Manager/PI Coordinator maintains and updates the trauma registry and performance improvement database. Assists with the development and implementation of the trauma performance improvement program. This role is full-time, 40 hours weekly; 8-hour shift, 8 am to 4:30 pm. A minimum of 5 years clinical RN work experience is required.
