 Adjunct, Faculty - Geology, Weather & Climate - In-person Continuous Pooled Position Posting Number: A0000063 Reports to: Department Chair, Natural Sciences Department: Arts and Sciences Education Classification: Full or Part-time: Job Summary: Responsible for student instruction in the form of online, or remote modalities. Faculty will work directly with Department Chair to meet course and program objectives. Responsible for upholding and supporting course and program policies. Course is instructed in an online environment. Essential Functions:

Accountabilities: Under the direct supervision of the Department Chair, each adjunct faculty member is responsible for satisfying the educational, administrative, and fiscal requirements inherent in his/her position. Job Specifications: Masters degree or higher in Meteorology, or related discipline, or a Masters degree with 18 graduate hours in Meteorology, or related discipline. OTHER HIGHLY DESIRED QUALITIES: Commitment to the college mission and guiding principles. Adjunct faculty are not employed directly by Lake Michigan College, with a few exceptions based on MSPERS retirement program. All others are employed through Edustaff, LLC.
