Job OverviewAs one of the oldest medical schools in the country, the UC College of Medicine has a strong reputation for training best-in-class health care professionals and advancing cutting-edge research that improves patient outcomes. Applications are invited for a Post Doctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Moises Huaman at the University of Cincinnati, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases.The clinical and translation research program led by Dr. Huaman focuses on prevention and control of infections of public health relevance and understanding and mitigating downstream effects of infections on non-communicable diseases. This position will conduct research experiments on the intersection between infection, translational immunology, and cardiometabolic diseases to understand how infections impact cardiometabolic risk.
