Golf Course Superintendent

The Club at Cordillera is seeking helping, humble, hustling, happy applicants for our open Course Superintendent position.

Duties

• Lead with purpose and helping hand (servant leadership)
• Construction experience
• Irrigation repairs are a large portion of time spent - Toro Lynx system with Flex 34/35 Heads
  • Nozzle and coverage analysis
  • Head leveling prioritization
  • Head by head adjustment in Lynx
• Spraying (specifically greens) - Toro 5800 GPS Sprayer
• Fertilizer applications - Vicon on a workman, push spreading tie-ins
• Pump station repair and maintenance
• Administrative: Scheduling, Payroll, Invoicing, Ordering, Planning, Inventory Management, etc.
• Must be able to work in a team environment - checking your ego at the door
• Our 12 square mile property takes 3 years to learn - please plan on that timeframe
• First 12 months takes a great deal of humility as much of the time is spent as a student of the property, learning the lessons we've learned, climate changes, greens snow removal techniques, spring recovery process, irrigation charge-up, winterization, GPS sprayer operation, hiring process, fertilizer application practices, tournament schedule, etc.
