Perform advanced budget and resource analyses, and assist in preparing monthly financial reports for principal investigators (PIs) and administration, using robust analytical tools. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, pre- and post-award grant administration. Respond to evolving financial reporting needs and provide ad hoc information for PIs, department chairs, and administration through campus financial systems. Prepare multi-year budgets and coordinate the submission of contract and grant proposals to various agencies. Additionally, provide policy interpretation, critical analyses, and administrative support for all aspects of temporary academic personnel administration. Oversee and audit departmental contract and grant funds, collaborating with departments to resolve issues. This role also includes training PIs and administrators on contract and grant responsibilities, accounting procedures, best practices, sponsor requirements, and ensuring compliance with UCR policies and regulations. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
