About LIONS AUTOMOBILIA FOUNDATION & MUSEUM
About us
The Lions Automobilia Foundation Museum is a non-profit corporation founded in December 2019 by Southern California businessman and car enthusiast, Rick Lorenzen. The nearly 100,000 sq. ft. facility not only includes galleries featuring Southern California’s famous car culture and rich motorsports history, but also the largest collection of Willys cars and trucks in North America and the Home of the Spirit of Lions Drag Strip Exhibit.
The Lions Automobilia Foundation - Museum is the Home of the Spirit of Lions Drag Strip featuring a replica of the iconic starting line, staging lanes, and tower. More than a museum, the Lions Automobilia Foundation takes preserving automotive history to the next level with its onsite restoration facility including a custom paint and body department. Our team of talented and veteran restoration experts support the Lions Youth and Career Path Program by providing seminars and workshops to ignite the next generation of builders and designers.
What makes Lions unique is our in house Fab, Paint, Body and Assembly shops that are devoted to maintaining and preserving classic and historical vehicles. Lions Automobilia workshops and seminars demon...strate automotive trades and provide the opportunity to experience a functionating restoration facility. The Lions Automobilia Foundation is proud to support Hot Rodders of Tomorrow, a Nationwide High School Engine Building Competition and host a competition in May at Lions. Lions recently introduced the Spark Plug Challenge, an opportunity for youth visiting Lions to learn how to change a spark plug.
