Director Operations, Primary Care

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in healthcare administration, business, nursing, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of healthcare operations leadership in a physician group or primary care setting preferred.
• Proven leadership in operations management, including oversight of clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Strong financial background with experience in budgeting, revenue cycle management, and performance analysis preferred.
• Broad knowledge of specialty practice operations, including clinical workflows, billing, compliance, provider relations, patient access, and human resources.

Special Skills or Training Requirements

• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong leadership presence with a high level of emotional intelligence and a collaborative leadership style.
• Provide the ability to lead through change, manage crises, and solve complex operational problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with EHRs and practice management systems preferred.
