Job SummaryThe Assistant Director manages and supports day-to-day operations of all facilities, programming, and services of the department. Provides oversight for recreational programs, facilities, and services to the Modesto Maidique Campus (MMC) and Biscayne Bay Campus (BBC) communities through the operation and administration of aquatics, sport clubs, fitness and wellbeing, informal recreation, intramural sports, marketing, membership/outreach, outdoor adventure, student development, reservation/rentals, special events, outdoor walking/jogging trail, tennis and pickleball. This position will report directly to the Associate Director of Facility Operations.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience in a related field; OR Master's degree and two (2) years of experience in a related field. CPR/Standard First Aid Certification or must obtain certification within 45 days of employment. Desired QualificationsFive (5) years of supervisory experience of full-time staff in collegiate recreation preferred. Pre-Employment Requirement
