Summary
Manages patient throughput by collaboration with the Regional Call Center team and nursing operations of the Nursing Regional Float Pool. Oversees nursing unit productivity and acuity; manages off-shift nursing supervision through the Administrative Supervisors, and directly supervises the nursing staffing office. This position also serves as the administrative oversight for the Companion Float Pool. Exemplifies a vision for change and continuous improvement by leading interdisciplinary teams. Coaches, mentors, directs, supports, teaches, and empowers staff. Utilizes corporate strategic plans and service excellence policies as a framework to plan and deliver evidence-based high quality patient care services in a cost-effective manner. Creates a culture of service, continuous evidence-based practices and process improvements and teamwork. Accountable for oversight of general nursing business operations, which includes scheduling, staffing, acuity, productivity, reporting, payroll, patient logistics, Nursing Supervision, Companion Care, and administration of all systems utilized by these functions. |
