Job Summary: The Vice President, Ambulatory Pharmacy Services provides strategic and operational leadership for all outpatient, specialty, and retail pharmacy services across the health system. This role drives growth in ambulatory pharmacy revenue and access, expands specialty and infusion services, and ensures excellence in patient care and experience. The VP leads a team of Network Directors responsible for specialty and retail operations, PBM management, purchasing/revenue cycle, and business analytics. Works collaboratively with the SVP, Chief Pharmacy Officer, and system leadership to advance pharmacy's role in population health, network integration, and financial performance. Reports directly to the SVP, Chief Pharmacy Officer. Responsibilities: * Develops and executes systemwide ambulatory and specialty pharmacy strategies to drive growth, patient engagement, and access to care. * Oversees retail, specialty, and PBM operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and superior patient experience. * Expands partnerships with payors, manufacturers, and providers to enhance financial performance and care coordination. * Leads business analytics and revenue cycle initiatives to optimize profitability and ensure transparent reporting. * Partners with clinical and IT leadership to enhance digital access, refill adherence, and medication management. * Ensures integration of pharmacy services into system population health and ambulatory care models. * Fosters collaboration among directors, providers, and care teams to achieve quality, access, and financial goals. * Builds and sustains a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. * Leads network integration of ambulatory pharmacy programs across entities to align operations, compliance, and financial performance. Qualifications/Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 15 years of pharmacy experience, including at least 7 years in leadership of ambulatory, retail, or specialty pharmacy programs in a large or multi-site healthcare system. Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required; Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Health Administration (MHA), or equivalent degree preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Valid license and current registration as a Pharmacist in the State of New York.
