Organization: VCHJob Summary: This provider will serve in a split FTE as a NICU Advanced Practice Provider in our Level IV NICU (0.8 FTE) and as the Clinical Coordinator (0.2 FTE) for our NICU APP fellowship.This provider will lead in the development of the APP fellowship curriculum, competencies, structure, and the day-to-day operations of the fellowship within the NICU. Provider will work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team to provide patient care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The provider will function independently as an advanced practice provider responsible for the management of critically ill and convalescing infants from admission to discharge. . Position Hours:
Department Summary: In the NICU at the Monroe Carell Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our newborns and their families. Our state-of-the-art NICU is equipped with advanced technology and staffed by a compassionate team of experts who work tirelessly to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. We are the largest unit within Vanderbilt University Hospital system with 116 beds, with an increase to 131 beds in Summer 2025. We are a level IV tertiary care NICU that attends to the complex care needs of more than 1400 fragile newborns per year. $15,000 Sign On Bonus for Candidates with 2 or More Years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Experience * The sign-on bonus is not applicable to current VUMC staff or former staff who have worked for VUMC in the past twelve months. The sign-on bonus is only available for full-time positions. Relocation available for candidates over 100+ miles from Nashville, TN
