Building Supervisor, Recreation Center

Education/Experience/Skills: 

Required: 

• We seek individuals able to work morning, evening, and weekend shifts. 
• Must be reliable, committed, and willing to work, as well as present a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Strong interpersonal skills to allow positive interaction with visitors, students, faculty, and staff. 
• Some knowledge of risk management and facility security (events, game management and crowd control).
• Strong organizational skills (computer data management, ability to handle multiple requests/reservations).
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be able to adhere to oral and written instructions and policies and procedures.
• Physically able to move/lift equipment weighing up to 45 pounds and ability to stand for longer periods of time.
• An appreciation for recreational opportunities that encourage the development of healthy lifestyles and the total well being to every individual is a must. 
• Current certifications or ability to obtain First Aid, CPR and (AED) Emergency Defibulation certifications within two months of hire.

Preferred: 

• Two years of related work within a recreational/sport facility or program or customer service environment.
• Understanding of and appreciation for a liberal arts college environment.
• Knowledge of recreation/sports and related equipment.

Physical Requirements:

Must have the ability to understand and follow written and oral work instructions, operations, safety procedures, and hazardous labels.
