PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ADMINISTRATION & COMMUNICATION - Provide organizational leadership and support to the Pastors, Principal, and ministry leaders.
- Effectively communicate key information to staff, board members, and the congregation as appropriate.
- Maintain all necessary documentation, including but not limited to records, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Ensure the security and reliability of technology systems, including IT, phones, and data management.
- Execute other projects as designated by Senior Pastor and/or Principal.
HUMAN RESOURCES - Serve as the primary HR contact for staff, supporting a Christ-centered workplace culture.
- Oversee and update staff handbooks, procedures, and benefits as necessary and required.
- Provide guidance on onboarding, performance, and conflict resolution in coordination with supervisors.
- Manage employee benefits, insurance policies, and related compliance.
FACILITIES & OPERATIONS - Seek and negotiate bids for maintenance, capital improvements, and service contracts.
- Oversee facility use, repairs, preventive maintenance, and compliance with codes and accreditation standards.
- Ensure that physical properties are well-kept, safe, and welcoming.
- Oversee and update all insurance policies.
- Supervise Day Porter and contractors as needed.
FINANCIAL LEADERSHIP - Supervise the Director of Accounting to ensure the effective management of the accounting office and systems.
- Lead the annual operating budget preparation for the church, school, and church plants, ensuring alignment with ministry goals and strategic vision of the church.
- Participate in the management of school tuition and financial aid.
- Advise leadership on the overall financial health of the church, school, and church plants.
- Maintain and revise monthly financial closing documentation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain budgeting for all ministries including monitoring performance to plan.
- Review financial reports on a monthly basis.
- Recommend responsible ways to reduce costs or increase revenue without compromising the quality of ministry.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred).
- 7–8+ years of experience in administration or nonprofit/church management.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS - Strong organizational, financial, and project management skills.
- Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster teamwork and resolve conflict.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including reports and presentations.
- Experience in staff leadership, performance management, and HR processes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Full-time role (40 hours/week), primarily weekdays with occasional evenings or weekends.
- Office-based with regular facility walk-throughs and vendor meetings.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and walk/stand for extended periods.
- Noise level typically low to moderate.
