Anticipated start: Academic Year: 7/1/2025 – 6/30/2026 Fall Semester: 8/1/2025 – 12/31/2025 Spring Semester: 1/1/2026 – 5/31/2026 Position duration: Academic year or fall/spring semester Application WindowOpen date: October 23, 2025 Next review date: Friday, Dec 5, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Jul 31, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position descriptionThe School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts seeks a lecturer(s) to teach courses in Accounting within the Economics and Business Management Department for Academic Year 2026-27. Courses being offered may include but not limited to: Managerial Accounting In addition to teaching the course(s), the instructor is responsible for creating a syllabus, holding weekly office hours (2 hours/week), and grading examinations and/or papers. The instructor may also be required to hold discussion and lab sections or supervise a graduate student teaching assistant. This is a limited-term appointment which falls under the purview of the agreement for the Lecturers Unit between University of California and the American Federation of Teachers. Terms and conditions of employment are subject to UC policy and appropriate collective bargaining agreement.
