| Position Overview The HVAC Technician Position is responsible for providing on-site monitoring in large buildings that house offices, classrooms, dorms, and labs. Installs, monitors and trouble shoots, services, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment as well as work with pneumatic and electronic controls. System sizes vary typically from 100 tons and below. Must be able to operate refrigeration recovery equipment in compliance with EPA guideline for CFC and HCFC refrigerants. This position requires the operation of work issued vehicles. Work Schedule is 7:30am-4pm Monday to Friday. Facilities Maintenance also offers a flexible work schedule option, 4-day work week 10-hour days, Monday to Thursday, or Tuesday to Friday.
