Research Data Analyst

| The Division of Geriatrics is seeking a part-time Research Data Analyst who uses skills as a seasoned, experienced research professional with a full understanding of in-depth statistical analyses and / or research software programming techniques to support projects related to improving care for older adults with serious illness. The most substantial of these is a National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded project aimed at improving hospice care for racial and ethnic minoritized older adults with Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD). Key responsibilities include involvement in the development of data collection instruments (surveys/interview guides) and conducting in-depth qualitative interviews in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Other responsibilities may include conducting outreach and recruitment; coding and analysis of qualitative data; and presentations of findings to Chinese speaking community partners and other dissemination. A successful candidate demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and are experienced in academic research programs. Those who have direct experience in qualitative methods and coding are preferred. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $87,900 - $126,900 (Annual Rate).
