The Wyles Lab in the Center for Regenerative Biotherapeutics and Mayo Clinic Department of Dermatology has an opening for a postdoctoral fellow interested in studying the association between cutting-edge biomarkers of skin aging and 3D bioprinting skin tissues. In this role, the candidate will lead independent projects on studying the molecular and cellular mechanisms of skin senescence in human models, specifically related to tissue engineering 3D skin models and wound patch development. Prior experience in tissue bioprinting and/or tissue engineering required.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in and have experience in:
A Research Fellow position in Life Sciences (LS) will require knowledge of either clinical-based research or laboratory-based research often obtained from a postdoctoral program. Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program.
Must have 3D printing and/or 3D bioprinting experience.
Research Fellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere.
