| Henry Ford College presents an opportunity for an Arts Coordinator and Technical Director. This is a 12-month full-time position with a variable schedule and supervisory responsibilities. Under the supervision of the Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, in coordination with Fine and Performing Arts Faculty, the Arts Coordinator and Technical Director is responsible for the design and execution of artistic lighting and sound needs for theatre productions, concerts, exhibitions, and other events in the McKenzie Fine Arts Center. Additionally, the Arts Coordinator and Technical Director works collaboratively and creatively with faculty, the Office of Student Activities, Facilities, and other stake holders to coordinate Arts Center scheduling, overseeing a 10-month season, currently at approximately 15-20 events per year. Work includes variable hours to meet the needs of events, supervision and training of Work Study students, and contributing expertise to ongoing improvements of arts facilities.
