Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead complex, multi-faceted projects that support business process improvements and strategic initiatives across the Faculty Practice Group and broader UCLA Health system. Reporting to the Manager of the Program & Project Management Office, you’ll collaborate with executive leaders, operational teams, and clinical partners to implement best practices, streamline processes, and deliver measurable results.

You’ll oversee projects from initiation through completion-managing scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables-while ensuring stakeholder alignment, effective communication, and smooth change management. This is a high-impact role where your leadership and analytical skills will directly contribute to advancing UCLA Health’s mission of delivering world-class patient care and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex projects and programs across departments to drive operational efficiency and organizational improvement
• Oversee all phases of project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of key outcomes
• Develop and maintain project documentation, risk assessments, and performance metrics
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication across diverse teams, ensuring transparency and alignment
• Apply change management methodologies to support adoption and sustainability of new processes and initiatives
• Mentor project management team members and promote a culture of collaboration, learning, and excellence
• Leads regular team meetings, establishing clear goals and objectives, and ensuring all stakeholders are informed of project status, changes, and strategic priorities
• Mentors project management staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards
