Available Title(s): 100J-YN_CS_NPS - Office Assistant 3 Business Title: Office Assistant 3 Employee Type: Classified Position Details: The Opportunity: Under general supervision, perform a variety of clerical and administrative support tasks for Purchasing Services. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries regarding departmental procedures and services, maintaining and updating filing systems, processing records, and extracting or compiling data from systems and source documents such as purchase orders, bids, and department requisitions. Serve as the receptionist for Purchasing Services by answering inquiries and directing calls and visitors to the appropriate staff member. Manage the electronic intake of department requisitions in the requisition tracking system, and create and update contract records in the contract management system. Oversee supplier contract website accounts and provide user support. Perform routine updates to the Purchasing Services website using the content management system. Perform related clerical duties as assigned. Additional Information: This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible. Monthly Salary: $3,417 to $4,542 | Range 38 | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
