Manager-Ambulatory Surgery Svcs

The Manager of Ambulatory Surgery Services provides operational leadership for all outpatient procedural areas. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, efficient case flow, and high-quality patient care in the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) setting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of all ASC procedural areas, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and procedural teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements specific to ASC operations.
• Monitor departmental performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement operational enhancements.
• Support staff development, training, and professional growth within ambulatory services.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and operational planning for the ASC.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years peri-procedural or perioperative nursing experience or a combination of critical care experience, with at least 2 years in a progressive leadership role.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required;Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current RN license in New York State.

Other:

• Knowledge of ASC regulations, accreditation standards, and patient safety practices preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and drive operational improvements.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
