The City of Hillsboro is seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to lead a talented accounting team and play a key role in shaping the City’s financial operations and long-term fiscal health.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, strategic finance leader who enjoys variety in their work, values collaboration, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. You’ll have the opportunity to work cross-departmentally, influence citywide decision-making, and guide process improvements that strengthen financial stewardship and transparency.

Salary range is $126,990 - $167,110, depending on qualifications.

Acceptable Experience and Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; and 
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible financial management experience, including 
  • At least two (2) years of leadership experience; or 
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.

 

Preferred Certifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO) preferred but not required.
